Purpose

Clark Public Utilities provides water service to over 40,000 homes and businesses in unincorporated Clark County. As a part of our commitment to providing reliable and safe water service to customers living in the Hockinson and Brush Prairie service area now and into the future, the utility has identified system improvement projects to address water capacity availability and to support future population growth in the area.

Benefits

Clark Public Utilities owns and maintains the current water storage reservoir located on a 5-acre lot at NE 164th Street and NE 192nd Ave. A new water reservoir is being constructed just adjacent to the current reservoir. This additional storage capacity will increase reliability to nearby homes and businesses in the area now and into the future and is just one part of the utility’s overall water system plan.

Timeline & Status Updates

Site work is scheduled to begin just after Labor Day, 2024 and will continue through late spring of 2025.
