How LIHEAP Grants Can Help
The federal Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) provides grants to help eligible residents pay for a range of home heating fuels:
- Electricity
- Natural Gas
- Oil
- Wood
- Propane
Clark Public Utilities has partnered with Clark County to administer the LIHEAP program for all residents, regardless of heating fuel type.
Who Qualifies for LIHEAP Grants?
Currently about 4,000 Clark County households receive federal LIHEAP grants each year. If you would like to apply, we’ll help you determine your eligibility based on factors such as income, household size and typical heating costs for your home.
